Join us on our journey

Many years in the making : massive opportunities to come

The PenTechX platform has been built and developed under wraps over many years and has appeared in different forms .
Now with the advent of cloud native computing and the state of the industry, it is the right time to kick start our journey in to the next phase.

The beginnings

2005

The idea for an online pension calculations engine was formed by Rob Mann our Founder.

In Progress

2010

After many code and architecture changes the model for the calculation engine was designed and the first few functions built.

Active Deployment

2014

A calculation engine delivered and implemented in to a large pension website.

PenTechX was first conceived!

In to the clouds

2017

PenTechX moved to MS Azure cloud platform and delivered our first cloud native calculation API.

Change the trajectory

April 2021

PenTechX and the PTXLab went live!  We will start to accelerate and help design the PenTech landscape.

PipeLine

2021+

We have a catalogue of new functionality to add on to our PenTechX Platform and exciting ideas for using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to help with our pension data issues.

Beyond the UK

2021+

Initially we will concentrate on our UK markets, but using the experience of our team, and our extensible product we are looking forward to expanding in to European and Global markets

The PenTech Revolution - why is not happening already?

The pensions industry is trying to transform itself. Regulation, legislation, digital and user demand means it is obliged to move from the traditional paper communications, poor member journeys and legacy systems to match the superior experience enjoyed by users of FinTech.

This is 'PenTech'.

Our team have created analytical techniques and cloud technology solutions to solve these common issues:

Complex Multidisciplinary Problem

Pension systems are complex due to pensions rules and legislation and legacy systems.

Few True Pentech Providers

There are few true providers of PenTech to the pensions industry, and fewer are stepping up to the FinTech/PenTech challenge.

Poor Data

Pension data is poor, this means automation is near impossible using existing data and legacy systems.

Growing Demand

The industry is slowly changing but demand for tech solutions and embracing the digital revolution is accelerating way faster.

Legacy Systems

Existing pension systems cannot or are prohibitively expensive to modify to keep up with digital landscape.
